Pretty great weekend in these parts.  Avery Brewing broke ground on their new brewery, Crooked Stave announced a new collaboration series and great new beers are dropping left and right.

Crooked Stave’s got the new Batch 60 flowing in the tasting room.  More details on this new beer and upcoming bottle release can be found further down.  Here’s the rest of this week’s lineup.

Station 26 Brewing will release a firkin of Brown Ale with French Oak.  Tapping time’s set for 4 PM.  Stop by and check out one of Denver’s newest breweries.

Our Mutual Friend will release bottles of their Chinook Red Ale on Thursday at 4 PM.  Hop heads should jump on this one.  Chinook Red Ale weighs in at 8.3% ABV and 90 IBU’s.

Quiero Arepas food truck will be on hand and the jazz records will be spinnin’.  Our Mutual Friend Malt & Brew is located at: 2810 Larimer St, Denver, CO 80205.

Lone Tree Brewing has plenty of tasty brews pouring in the tasting room.  This week’s menu includes an India Pale Lager, Barrel Aged Black IPA on Nitro and Peach Pale Ale.

They’ve also got some new monstrous 128 oz. “mega-growlers” to take your beer with you.  $10 for the glassware, with fills running $20 – $30 depending on the beer.  Get 10% off the beer when you buy the glass.  Limited run of 140.

Winter Brew Fest returns to Denver this weekend.

This year, the event has grown to 2-days and will feature dozens upon dozens of craft breweries.  Look for Firestone Walker, Stone, Odell, Elevation, Renegade and many, many more.  Mile High Station’s a kick ass venue and this is one seriously fun brew fest.  Get the full run down and ticket info HERE.  Mile High Station is located at: 2027 W Colfax Ave, Denver, CO 80204.

Dry Dock Brewing will celebrate their 1-year Canniversary on Friday.

Stop by the brewery to toast the first year of Dry Dock in cans.  Think about all the adventures you’ve taken these bad boys on over the past 12 months.  God, I love canned beer.  During the party, you’ll be treated to $2 cans and the chance to win some great swag.  BOOM!!!  They’ll also be tapping a firkin of Tart Cherry Frambosia at 3 PM.  Dry Dock Brewing is located at: 15120 E Hampden Ave, Aurora, CO 80014.  303-400-5606.

Jellyman’s gone hoppy again.  For this week’s Deviation at Rockyard Brewing, he’ll release Jelly the Younger an “Insanely IIPA”.

Odell’s Lugene Chocolate Milk Stout is back!

The brewery will host a release party on both Saturday and Sunday.  Stop by for beer floats, fresh kegs, bottles to-go and an appearance by Lugene’s calves on Sunday.  Check out the review of this delicious beer we did with Fermentedly Challenged last year.  Odell Brewing is located at: 800 E Lincoln Ave, Fort Collins, CO 80524.

Parry’s Pizza will tap a keg of Pliny the Elder on Saturday at 5:30 PM.

They want to pack the joint, snap some pics and send ‘em off to Russian River.  The intent is to capture the attention of Vinnie Cilurzo and the Russian River crew and convince them to send some Pliny the Younger to Parry’s Pizza next month.  Come on out, do your part, show your support and drink some great beer.  Parry’s Pizza Greenwood Village is located at: 5970 S Holly St, Greenwood Village, CO 80111.

Time for another bottle release at River North Brewery.

The brewery’s teamed up with Mr. B’s again for this round.  B’side Avarice is a Belgian-style Imperial Stout that’s spent the past 12 months in Rye Whiskey Barrels.  There’s only thirty cases available, with bottles being sold both at the brewery and Mr. B’s.  Additional details on the release can be found HERE.  Bottle release begins at 1 PM.  River North Brewery is located at: 2401 Blake St #1, Denver, CO 80205.

Copper Kettle’s bringing back their Saison Savoureux on Saturday.

The Colorado Craft Beer Show returns to Arvada Beer Company on Saturday for their monthly broadcast.

Tune in for your latest Colorado craft brew news.  Arvada Beer Company is located at: 5600 Olde Wadsworth Blvd, Arvada, CO 80002.  The Colorado Craft Beer Show airs on AM760 from noon – 2 PM every Saturday.

American Craft Beer Radio will be live at Lucky Pie this Saturday, with an England vs. Germany event.

Radio Show, Firkin Friday and More Russian River News
